Ulysses Yates

U.A. joined us as a partner in October 2015 when he merged in his accounting and tax practice. U.A. has more than 35 years of public and corporate accounting experience. He has been a business owner, a CFO, and a CPA firm Partner. U.A. spent the first seven years of his professional career working for two large regional CPA firms, doing tax return preparation. He then joined a former client, as their CFO and shareholder. After 10 years of rapid growth, he negotiated a sale to a publicly traded company. U.A. joined the public company, and for the next 6 years served as the director of east coast financial operations overseeing 17 locations. In 2008, he returned to public accounting and has been providing financial consulting, accounting and tax services to a wide variety of clients ever since. U.A. graduated from Towson University and is a member of the MACPA, AICPA & MSATP. U.A. and his wife Liz live on a small farm in the Hereford Zone. They have three grown children, two adopted children and five grandchildren.
