Overview
About our office
Wilmington's economy has changed a lot over the past decade (more technology, more healthcare, more transplants from larger markets), but the underlying need hasn't changed: businesses here want an accountant who shows up before there's a problem, not after. Stan, Steve, and Ann built this practice around that idea. They're available year-round, they know the Cape Fear market, and they don't treat tax season as their only window to be useful.

Steve Wood
Steve Wood began his career in tax as a revenue agent for the US Treasury and then as a financial investigator for securities fraud for a large San Diego Law firm. He started as a CPA in 1995 where he started a small business providing tax services to the Wilmington community. With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, he has a substantial amount of tax knowledge with which to better advise his clients-- whether they be individuals or businesses. Besides tax and general accounting, he has extensive experience in financial and estate planning, and real estate tax work. When he is not in the office, he is relaxing with his guitar, spending time with his family, playing golf or walking his dogs. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
